During my time at University, I became a member of the Leeds Clubs and Writers society, producing numerous articles for the award-winning Leeds student magazine, The Gryphon. In 2016 I was runner-up for best clubs article.

Over the course of three open days I worked as a campus tour guide leading prospective students around the university. I adapted the tours to the majority preferences of each group and mapped out a suitable route. Occasionally I was positioned at the advice stand in the union, where I reassured new students about a variety of issues, e.g. accommodation, mental health support and extra-curricular involvement.

Over the course of my degree I studied crucial modules in Spanish language and translation. In third year, I studied in Madrid for my compulsory year abroad, which cemented my conversational skills. A confident written style was developed through countless literature essays and editorial experience gained when I chose to put together my own anthology of literature as part of my Final Year Project. I assumed the role of editor, editing and transcribing the poetry from original sources and producing a 10,000 word introduction for the collection based on my lengthy research.
