Natalja Safronova is a Director of Photography working across Fiction, Documentary, Music Videos, Commercials.
Her love for colourful and quirky imagery best shines through in a BAFTA winning mini series ‘How to Be a Person’. Natalja’s Fiction and Documentary work can be seen on Amazon Prime, ITVX, Channel 4, and more.
A part-time nomad, Natalja has traveled to over 50 countries and shot in challenging locations, from the mountains of Nepal to the deserts of Iraq. Whether managing local crews in unpredictable environments or shooting in the comforts of a London studio, she fosters creative solutions.

- 1st June1st June is a short film shot in the summer of 2016, currently in festivals. It is a coming of age story about a couple slowly becoming estranged as their long summer holiday comes to an end. The film was shot over one week in Istria, Crotia, using only available light. The project was an experiment in non-action based storytelling - the idea being that we could only tell the story through a progression of mood development and locations.
