My name is Natalya Andrews and I'm a fashion promotion student based in London. I sometimes go by the pseudonym Fedelis Caprice, which is a name that pays homage to both of my grandmothers, who have shaped who I am today. I am interested in creative direction and image-making. I like to play with various mediums including styling, photography, filmmaking, drawing and 3D sculpting. Additionally, I like to create hair sculptures, both physically and digitally. My hair sculptures are inspired by the eccentric 90s hairstyles, especially styles that were popular in dancehall culture.
Most of my work centres around the various experiences of black womanhood. Some of these experiences include motherhood and sexuality. Most of my work is community orientated. This is due to growing up in Ladbroke Grove, which has a large Caribbean community and is home to Notting Hill Carnival.
