About me
I managed the Visitor Services Department at the Royal Academy of Arts and led a team of 45 Visitor Services Assistants. Whilst at the Royal Academy, I organised and managed the Visitor Services operation for many major exhibitions including Aztecs; China; From Russia; Anish Kapoor, Van Gogh; David Hockney and Manet. I am committed to providing a high standard of visitor experience to all visitors. I was also a member of the Facilities Management team. In addition, I am experienced in event management. I am accustomed to working under pressure and facing and resolving challenges. I have worked for an independently funded institution and am aware of the commercial imperative. I have initiative and a positive approach. Recently I project managed exhibitions for the Royal Photographic Society including “Bleeding London", which showed at City Hall, London and “Capturing London” which is showing at the Bank of England Museum.

    Project managing exhibitions for the RPS. Organised the installation and Opening Reception of “Bleeding London” at City Hall which exhibited July-Sept 2015. The exhibition raised the profile of the RPS and the sponsors Quilter Cheviot, Investment Management. Pitched a collaborative exhibition to the Bank of England on behalf of the RPS and worked with the Bank on an exhibition “Capturing the City” which is showing at the Bank of England Museum from Jan 2016 for a year. This is the first time the Bank of England Museum has worked with an external partner which is very prestigious for the RPS and will raise the organisation’s profile.
