Hi! I'm a recent graduate from The New School, located in NYC. I earned my degree in Journalism + Design while double minoring in Fashion Communications and Ethnicity and Race Studies. My unique combination of interests really tailored my academic journey and as a result, has informed much of the work I have produced over the past several years. I have been fortunate enough to also participate in internships, fellowships, jobs, and study abroad opportunities than have also broadened my education. While I'm currently working as a freelance writer, I'm interested in all creative positions. In the future I hope to do work developing brand identities, creative consulting, and helping the creative industry become more inclusive and diverse. My brand, Makings of Manja, is dedicated to highlighting and showcasing the works of the African Diaspora. As someone who is passionate about storytelling, ideation, and creating dialogue with others, I look forward to connecting with you!
