I am a recent graduate of the Central Saint Martin’s Masters programme Culture, Criticism and Curation, on which I achieved a distinction. During this degree, I continued to develop my socially conscious curatorial practice which focusses on reframing and activating marginalised figures and practices neglected by the traditional canon. I have expanded this practice through a combination of academic and extracurricular pursuits including essay writing, archiving, workshop facilitation, exhibitions both physical and digital, and events.
Throughout these projects, I have focussed on creative conceptualisation and facilitation, collaboration, audience development and communication. I am passionate about the power of creativity to alter the way we see and operate within the world and through the projects I have undertaken hope to share this power with others.
Currently, I am expanding this passion through my role at Kleió, a collective I have co-founded which seeks to uncover and respond to marginalised narratives, primarily those of women, through contemporary curatorial practice. Producing Kleio’s current project, an online exhibition and events programme titled ‘Feather Dusting/ Future Lusting’, evidences my self-motivation during this challenging and unprecedented time. Kleió’s primarily female focus reflects my fascination with marginalised female narratives- both historical and contemporary.
In summary, I am a dedicated and curious individual willing to take on a variety of tasks and complete them to the highest standard. I am committed to collaboration, community engagement and creativity.
