am currently employed as a Customer Service Team Leader in a large multinational company. I have been here with Interparcel for approximately 5 years now. We deal with thousands of customers and couriers every day across the world. As with any customer-service related job it is a busy and intense environment, from which has helped me develop my skills in a wide variety of areas. I have developed leadership qualities from starting as a Customer Services Advisor and within a year being promoted to a Customer Service Team Leader managing a team. Attention to detail is vital as I monitor and encourage the members of my team ensuring that they are achieving their general performance targets. From this I have enhanced my communication skills and ability to work in a high pressured industry. Social media is a key part of our operation and I have developed a sound understanding of how to utilise this tool to its maximum. Other duties involved monitoring and diplomatically replying to review site comments. I am also required to occasionally manage the office, perform team reviews, whilst ensuring I hit my personal target set by my line manager. Together with the other team leaders, I make sure that our department runs as smoothly as possible.
