As a freelance feature writer for Rooms Magazine (www.roomsmagazine.com), I have been privileged to get invited to talks and art exhibitions for which I either provide reviews or network as an active member of the magazine. I also liaison between some PR companies and my editor for which I have the editorial power to decide the inclusion of certain artists or products to be featured on our website . Having been with the magazine for a year now, there has been many high profile interviews where I was able to brush showers or exchange a word or two with some of the people I have respected over a long period of time, who renew my passion and interest in the arts and cultural, creative industries. The magazine has a worldwide readership with its print issues being sold in Europe/Australia-Asia/North America.
After meeting director Rowland Jobson of Seefood.tv whose works had been exhibited at Venice Film Festival, I was asked to come on board for the development of his next project Sleeper which has been on halt due to funding difficulties. In the four months of working along side the director, I had reviewed his first draft of script and drafted his press packages as well as meeting him regularly at The Hospital Club for our creative briefings.
I worked as a sales assistant and runner for the UK fashion brand AQ/AQ on various occasions througout 2012-2014.
As a showroom assistant at Tractenberg & Co. fashion PR, my responsibilities include day to day showroom management and running between the showroom and where I am deployed to in the city of New York in a very similar fashion to Devil Wears Prada except that my boss at the time Megan Maguire Steele (http://www.maguiresteele.com/) was personable and benevolent unlike the character Meryl Streep portrayed in the film. In running up to New York fashion week I had adopted a fluid way of working which enabled me to learn many forms of transferable skills in areas such as networking and wearing the
