I am a creative director, designer, and director known for exploring the human condition through live, immersive experiences. My work utilises light, moving image, sound, technology, and performance.
I began as a graphic designer in 1994 before expanding into animation and film direction. My collaborations include renowned artists like Es Devlin, Damon Albarn, Brian Eno, and David Lynch.
In 2004, I co-founded Silent Studios, a multi-sensory practice that has worked on seminal projects for clients such as Apple, 4Creative, Burberry, Google, MTV, Nike, Palace, The Rolling Stones and Vice. I was the artistic director for Burberry World Live from 2011-2015, leading immersive digital experiences on a global scale.
In 2017, I co-founded res.lab, which focuses on immersive audio for live installations and virtual/augmented realities. In 2020 was the creative director for Damon Albarn's solo project, The Nearer The Fountain for two years, and at the London Philharmonic Orchestra. At the orchestra, I designed and directed 40 shows at the Royal Festival Hall and pushed the boundaries of classical music in contemporary culture with groundbreaking multi-camera films.
I have held artist residencies at institutions like sketch gallery and The Eden Project. Notably, I was commissioned by the Barbican in 2022 to create Sonic Waterfall, an installation for their Our Time On Earth exhibition.
