My research contributes to and reiterates calls to challenge homogenising conceptualisations of Black girls, Black women and Black mothers' lives and experiences which do not meaningfully recognise the challenges, and disadvantages, faced when considering mobility, positionality, and power from their intersection as they navigate British and transatlantic spaces as they become creative entrepreneurs.
