About me
I`m an enthusiastic, self motivated, and highly organised individual who is determined to exceed in my field of work. I have gained lots of experience from my BA Hons Fashion degree to working in luxury fashion as a personal shopper, assisting on professional photoshoots, entering and winning fashion design competitions for well established companys such as, TikTok and Schwarzkopf, and working backstage at Graduate Fashion Week. I am highly skilled at using adobe software such as, photoshop, illustrator and in design. I have also used WGSN which is an exclusive global fashion trend forecaster for creatives and I have the ability to adapt and understand different brands visions and concepts. My degree has taught me a wide variety of valuable and essential industry skills. These include, building creative concepts, designing innovative collections, understanding luxury to commercial target markets, using adobe software to create professional imagery and drawing digital illustrations, how to design and develop a final collection, sewing at a professional industry level, understanding different materials and their structures, professional pattern cutting, building fabric suppliers connections, creating mood/trend boards, and how to adapt to a brands vision. Throughout my degree I worked part time in luxury fashion at Hugo Boss where I created seasonal trend boards for our team for each range/collection and I also worked closely with our store visual merchandiser to change the store layout. I was responsible for building strong clients including VIPS, meeting our stores daily targets and KPIs, steaming clothes, learning in depth about the fashion ranges, upselling, cross selling and team selling, cashing up the tills, working with our store tailor, ordering online, collections/returns, dealing with complaints, and closing the store and tills. In my spare time, I constantly keep up to date with the latest fashion trends/silhouettes and news within the fashion industry and I also enjoy creating fashion content on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok!
