About me
Freelance writer and copywriter with a background in people and change (consulting). Writes keenly about food and spirituality (not together, but open to that too), looking for opportunities to expand portfolio in food writing, style, travel, and faith/spirituality.
Projects
  • Food photography
Food photographyI'm an avid food lover and combine that with my love of writing to share reviews and recommendations about food in London (mostly) and New York (seasonally). I take lots of food photographs, and they have been reposted on social media (Eater) and used in books (Not A Normal Food Guide).
  • Published in Amaliah
Published in AmaliahI have had a couple of articles published in Amaliah, the brilliant platform focusing on amplifying the voice of Muslim women from all walks of life.
  • Co-writing debut cookery book for Sunday N1
Co-writing debut cookery book for Sunday N1I'm delighted to have worked with Sunday, a well-known North London cafe/restaurant, to write chunks of the content (the introduction, half of the recipes) for their debut cookery book, due to be published in May 2020. I worked with the client to draft and refine content, and edit/proofread the drafts. Reference available from the client on request. Photograph here with one of the authors and the book is by me.
