I have key organisational, communication and technological skills. These have been developed through my extensive work history in a range of educational and working environments.
Having started a blog online just as a personal log while travelling solo for the first time in 2016. I soon found people becoming interested in my stories and photographs that soon developed into my travel work you see today.
My background in Biology has given me key insight into scientific factors surrounding environmentalism, conservation and sustainability when it comes to tourism, consumerism and lifestyle and how to best present them to the general public. I have worked in animal conservation in the field from Sea Turtles in Greece to Elephants in Asia, carried out environmental surveys, coauthored a paper on developmental biology and worked as an editor at the world’s largest scientific publisher.
Not only have I been featured in International news articles I was recently nominated for Photography Creator of the year.
I now truly enjoy creating engaging digital content whether this be visual imagery, videos or articles I present to my audience a unique perspective of travel, merging sensational experiences with raw issues affecting our planet.
I possess strong working knowledge of HTML, XML, alongside MS Office, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Photoshop platforms. I am also adept to using Hootsuite and Facebook Power Editor.
