In my role as AHoD for Design Communication, I manage several UG and PG courses; these are BA(Hons) Fashion Communications, BA (Hons) Graphic Design, BA (Hons) Illustration, and MA Graphic Arts. I directly line manage Programme Leaders, Senior Lecturers and Lecturers in each team. I have a cross-department responsibility for Learning & Teaching and Employability. Beyond this, I am a member of several boards and committees, I have assisted in the validation of several courses across UWE, and I am currently working on the UG and PGT reviews with a remit of ensuring the growth and sustainability of our offer.

I work on a variety of graphic design and web design projects that encompass areas of branding, promotion and marketing. I work across web (CMS, HTML, CSS and more) and print (digital and traditional); I have a fluent knowledge of both areas of design and relish projects that allow me to work across the two areas.
In addition to design services I also offer training in all of the previously mentioned areas. When designing a CMS web site I feel it is of the utmost importance the client feels in control when the complete site is handed over and they are fully able to run updates and add new content.
