My name is Neil O’Keeffe and I am a freelance graphic designer, art director and fashion photographer based in central London. I have been a graphic designer for 15+ year, specialising in branding, art direction and general agency clientele. As a fashion photographer I focus on helping fashion companies to build stronger brands. I also published a print magazine called Valstrom. See website for folio edit.
I currently shoot a number of London fashion brands, from look books to ecommerce to social media.
Projects
- SiranDesigner, art director, photographer, retoucher. Starting with the logo I developed the brand look for luxury womenswear label Siran. I have been designing and shooting all of the lookbooks for the London based label since 2015, as well as content for social media. Printed material includes stationery and look books. - Valstrom MagazineEditor, art director, designer, photographer, writer, publisher. Valstrom was a biannual print magazine about fashion culture that I ran for six issues and distributed in select retailers in central London. Content included profiles, interviews and editorials. I created the publication as a platform for my work and for others whom I admired. Valstrom held a social media following of over 15k.
- Chic Agency LondonDesigner, photographer, retoucher. I worked freelance at international design agency Chic on brands in the LVMH portfolio. These included Dom Pérignon, Dior and Johnnie Walker. I also photographed LVMH spirits and perfume promo displays in Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason and Harvey Nichols.
- NudeBrand design, art direction, illustrator, photographer, copywriter, shareholder. Nude was a healthy fast food chain of restaurants (7 outlets) based in Dublin. As head of the branding I was tasked with packaging, signage and all printed material for over several years of the business. The packaging won the Institute of Designers in Ireland award.
- Jovonna LondonLogo design, photography and art direction, retouching, casting. Jovonna is a womenswear brand distributed globally to boutiques as well as two stand alone stores in Mayfair and Portobello Market. The London-based brand is a trend driven label with a large celebrity fan base. I would usually cast, shoot, retouch and design for lookbooks and e-commerce.
