About me
When I left school in 2019, I wanted to get straight into working. I completed a business analyst apprenticeship with DSV, a global logistics company. Unfortunately, I was made redundant due to COVID-19. The employment opportunities were few and far between at this time with companies struggling. So, I took on the role of dessert chef and team leader for the little dessert shop ltd. My employers here gave me the brilliant opportunity to do a digital marketing course. Again, due to COVID, this is still in progress however I have come to realise I would like to do something creative such as marketing / media / design. Away from work, digital art is my hobby, I am working on creating a portfolio at present. As I lack experience in a professional environment and being 18, many employers do not consider my application and look for someone who has been there and got the t-shirt. However, I feel as though I have a lot to give, I am a fast learner who is organised and committed. I always want to prove that I can be better than I was yesterday. I believe with a little training I can achieve great things and take a role to the next level.
