Writing is my passion, and I believe this is reflected in the work I produce. At present, the majority of my free time is spent writing a blog and putting together articles and pieces on subjects that interest me. I also dedicating a lot of my time to my social media feed and growing my brand through my network of followers.
Having started it in 2014, whilst in full time employment, my personal website is becoming more and more successful, with various brands and companies requesting to sponsor my content both on the site and on my social channels. I currently have a permanent blogging position for the Huffington Post and, in more recent months, have been interviewed by ELLE and NOW magazines, appeared as a panelist for feminine hygiene brand ‘Intimina’s UK product launch, written for a multitude of blogs and websites and featured on BBC Radio 2’s Woman’s Hour. I have also produced commissioned pieces for both The Independent and Independent Voices.
I spent time collaborating with the popular American sex education website, Tabu. This included regular articles and vlogs. In 2016/2017, I donated fortnightly articles and reviews to multi-award-winning website Slutty Girl Problems. This allowed me to tackle sexual and relationship issues from a feminist point of view and my social shares and article views won me ‘Contributor of the Month’ three times. At the beginning of this year, I completed my first book and am now looking into the process of publishing it.
As a result of me building my brand and growing both my blog and business whilst, for the most part, maintaining a separate career, I have grown used to writing blog posts and articles quickly and precisely, working around my job, inevitably strengthening my skill to meet deadlines punctually and professionally. Given my broad writing experience in everything from copywriting, putting together blog posts on various topics, running social media accounts for clients and assisting in writing briefs, I believe it is definitely time to look to further my career in an industry I am passionate about.

For the past eighteen months, I have been working in a Sales Support Administrator role at Box Technologies. Through this, I have learned an entirely new set of skills and repertoire built around technical knowledge, and believe that I continue to grow and learn every day. This position has been incredibly well suited to me, and has contributed to enhancing and improving my strengths. I am often the first point of call for a customer, and so have perfected my customer service skills; namely emails, telephone calls and problem solving. The role has allowed me to become more involved in other aspects of the company, and therefore broadened my interests and knowledge in fields such as Point of Service and team management. I possess excellent leadership skills, including impeccable time management and organisation skills and the ability and malleable skill set to work with anyone. Having experienced working under various Account Managers, I am well versed in adapting to varying styles of management and understanding different and specialist customers, needs and orders. I manage stress very well and have been known to juggle large workloads successfully. When learning new processes, I am quick to adapt and maintain, ensuring that all work is done correctly and to company standard.

For the past few years, I have been freelancing whilst taking on various temporary and permanent positions. I have been substituting in various administrative roles and have worked several jobs for a range of different clients as a Brand Ambassador and Event Manager at Circle Agency. I have immersed myself in commercial and social copywriting for companies such as Gallowglass LTD and RPM; assisting in building and re-vamping their websites and producing copy for leaflets and social media. Alongside this, I have designed and built my own website, interned at several publications and have continued to contribute to a variety of sites and magazines whilst writing my own blogs and running the supporting social media accounts.
