I've been working on digital products and services since 2008. From early on, I've had two clear passions, design and technology. I've been working on combining both of them in my workflow every day since then. This combination of design and technical skills has helped me define myself as a design engineer.
You may wonder what exactly is a design engineer; it's the union of the roles of product design and engineering. It's the link between two worlds, a professional who works hand in hand with other developers and product designers. This combination is the key to ensuring design intent is realized in production. That high product quality is always maintained. That design systems are built, not just been designed. That every detail is taken care of for creating products that are both usable and delightful.
So, I do design and development. Although sometimes I'm only centered on one of these skills, when I have the opportunity to use both of them in the same project is when the magic happens. The workflow is more fluent and efficient; decisions can be made faster because you can see and try the product in the early stages of the building process. Nothing is static; you can see how your product will look and work while playing with it.
I believe that making dynamic prototypes is a good start from a design point of view. Still, I think we can go a step further and create production-ready experiences from early on. Products that evolve over time but are usable each day during the process. I believe it's a way to push the boundaries of design and technology forward, always learning and experimenting.

Our approach’s quite different to anything you might experience before. We mix all the stages of the classic digital product design process, which results in a more efficient way of designing for the digital world.
We have worked along with some excellent companies such as Telefónica, Movistar, GSMA, BBVA, Euro 6000, Banco Sabadell, Barclays, Endesa, Edenred, Mango, Inditex, IED, and BeMate. Help design and develop new ideas and projects at startups with ambitious founders, like Healthia (sold to Sanitas, Bupa), Finect, Beatter, HoopTap, or BioPantry. We have also had the opportunity to participate in social initiatives and projects with the UNEP/WCMC, the Climate Policy Initiative, the Aranzadi Science Society, the Catalan Institute of Ornithology, or the Barcelona City Council.
We also collaborate regularly with other design studios such as Fjord, part of Accenture Interactive.
