My role as a knitwear studio intern included the following daily roles: knitting on domestic and Dubied machines. Garment construction and linking. Knitwear Tension calculations. Basic knitwear pattern cutting. Assisting with digital programming. Creating mood boards. Yarn selection and contacting yarn agents. Taking part in client meetings. Creating tech packs.

My role as a knitwear design intern included the following daily roles: creating technical packs, drawing garment CAD flats, creating range plans and factory overviews, design and trend research, social media scheduling, creating seasonal mood boards, assisting on photoshoots, factory and supplier correspondence, scheduling and minute taking for design meetings.
