About me
Hello, I’m an illustrator and designer currently living and working in Bristol. I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Illustration from University College Falmouth in 2010 and have been working freelance ever since. My main inspirations stem from popular culture, the 1980's, vintage vinyl, fashion and more recently (and perhaps surprisingly) the world of horticulture. Over the years I've developed a particular penchant for drawing the rich and famous, from A-Z list, dead or alive - it seems I can't resist a famous face! I’m available for commissions and am currently seeking representation, freelance roles or full time positions so don’t hesitate to get in contact. Look forward to hearing from you, Nick.

Freelance Designer (2014-2015) I first worked with TZUJI at the tail end of the production of their S/S15 collection when they commissioned me to produce the graphics for their finale piece. Since then I’ve been commissioned to produce the graphics for the entire A/W15 collection including developing and designing a custom font as well as creating surface patterns used within the collection and across their branding. I’m currently working with them on developing their digital design identity (such as email campaigns, online presence etc). Alongside that I’m developing their swing tags and packaging, as well as starting work on their S/S16 Collection.

Sugar Shack Records, Bristol Archive Records & Reggae Archive Records Freelance Artworker/Designer (2010-2015) Initially working as an artworker working on template sleeves for digital releases I then took on more of a design based role creating artwork and graphics for CD and vinyl releases. I’ve worked on many different briefs for a variety of different bands, genres and formats (7” single, 12” LP, CD, CD booklet etc), sometimes creating artwork from scratch and others using or reinterpreting archive material. Generating promotional material such as postcards, posters and event flyers (for both print and digital use) was also an aspect of some projects. The latest project we worked on was in partnership with Tangent Books called Bristol Boys Make More Noise! - a snapshot of the Bristol music scene (mainly Punk & New Wave) during the 70’s and early 80’s.
