Hello. I’m Nick Allen. The first half of my life was spent in a place called Worcester, which is a quiet city in the middle of England. When I was 18 years old I moved to London to study graphic design. It was exciting.
During the next half I've been working in the creative industry, crossing advertising, art direction, design and branding in several different countries with a wealth of world class talent and lovely folks. Previous agencies include BBDO, Mother London, Exposure, Landor and Conran, for lots of brands including some big ones like Coca-Cola, Levi's and Nokia. Most recently I was a Senior Creative for the broadcaster Sky in the UK, leading campaigns and directing.
I like simple ideas executed beautifully, photography, film projects, illustration, fonts, print processes, colour pallettes, well crafted copy, artists of all kinds, real people, optimism, stories, travel, surf, snow and new adventures.
My network includes photographers, directors, producers, planners, strategists, writers, designers, web developers, thinkers and do-ers who don't fit into any of the above. I am currently seeking opportunities to work with agencies or directly with brands either freelance or with a view to permanent roles.
