About me

I am currently the department lead for menswear at the market-leading trend forecasting company WGSN. With nearly 20 years' experience in fast-fashion menswear design and forecasting, I have a diverse apparel design CV, spanning Topman; Jack & Jones; and Designers at Debenhams, as well as many key suppliers to fashion retail. A seasoned product developer, I have also worked in trend and colour prediction for Bureaux, Stylesight and the International Colour Authority. I have a strong instinct for emerging trends and how they translate for broad market appeal.

I am the department lead for WGSN, creating all flagship content across colour, apparel forecasts themes, plus leading the direction (and working on) the Buyer's Briefing suite of reports. I attend major global trade shows to cover the latest directions and speak to the most directional and important brands, which gives me insights to impart within content and consulting sessions with WGSN's global client base. I also oversee WGSN's menswear catwalks coverage, ensuring menswear messaging is consistent across WGSN's Collection Reviews suite of reporting. For the internal trend-building days, I brief a global team of researchers and work with all menswear content contributors to curate all trend research for seasonal kick-off meetings, which form the key directions for the season's content. In this role, I have been a panelist on the British Fashion Council's Portfolio Award and also on the judging panel for Graduate Fashion Week (UK). As extra-curricular commitments, I have been proud to be a mentor as part of WGSN's Future Maker's Programme and helped bring about WGSN's dedicated Diversity & Inclusion team.
