As a kid I built lego brick spaceships to destroy baddies and conquer alien worlds. Bigger and better each time - using every brick I had, even the odd ones that didn't match. I spent hours tracing with grease proof paper from the kitchen too, drawing and colouring in like nothing else mattered. My felt tips always dried up because I left the damn lids off. It was always about losing myself in the story, the fantasy I could create in my head and live out through the things I made. That desire to make things and create ways to bring ideas to life is what still drives me today. It's embodied in what I've spent over 20 years calling work. With my team at Bravedog I'm still inventing, creating and shaping stories how we think they should be told. Got any lego?

VMA Cross Media Campaign WINNERVMA Marketing Awards
We don't tend to enter awards, in fact, never have. A client put us forward without telling us so it was a nice surprise when she rang and told us we needed to go to a 'do' in London to receive the award! It was humbling to be recognised for our work on a multi-channel lead-gen campaign we created and ran for a global Veterinary Education organisation. It was highly creative, well executed and smashed the numbers.
