Hey,
I'm Nick. A freelance Graphic Designer living in the World Heritage village of Saltaire in West Yorkshire. I specialise in providing design content for independent music producers, bands, record labels, promotional services, club/gig nights and event branding. Including cover artwork, digital and vinyl. Label and artist logo's, promotional campaigns, print and social media.
As a producer and having released music myself, I know how important it is that the artwork is an integral visual translation of emotion, message or story behind an artist's music. A representation that is just as personal for an artist or band as the music itself.
Being creative is a constant presence that I have in my life, whether that be designing or making music. I need to be creative to feel a connection with the world.
Within graphic design, I love exploring ways of story telling through combining colour, layout and typography, developing visual communication.
I have a great passion for music and sub-culture. This has led me to produce music, DJ, organise club nights, run a record label, create branding for record labels and also present radio shows. Design and Music are a great source of creativity and freedom for me, I continuously use both as an inspiration for life and as an inspiration for each other.
