About me

Now focusing full-time on my next business venture, Wellnergy ✨ My entrepreneurial journey has led to me experiencing a lot of the highs and lows that come from running a business (or in my case, a group of businesses). As such I have gained a vast insight and understanding in many industries and gained transferable knowledge in areas ranging from leadership, motivation, operations, HR, how to scale a business, sales, finance, communications, business psychology, internal procedures and marketing. My natural expertise is in operations and procedures and I have a track record and passion for simplifying tasks and making seemingly unachievable tasks manageable and achievable, with an injection of fun along the way. I like to aim high and follow unconventional paths by innovating and disrupting industry norms, rather than taking the easy route. Graduating in Law LLB from Leeds University in 2008 with a 2-1, I should have been a lawyer but instead set up a company called Invasion Events from humble beginnings in my parent's bedroom. This then turned into a youth travel juggernaut called the Invasion-Camp Group which took away over 100,000 passengers and I was responsible for overseeing 50 staff in a 5,000sq-ft office in Manchester that we purchased, which was called “Salford’s Coolest Office” by the Manchester Evening News. Staff and culture was our biggest asset and so employee satisfaction is always really important to me and there was a certain buzz and energy that was harnessed within Invasion HQ. After a successful acquisition in June 2021, I then fully exited in March 2023 in order to focus full-time on my next venture, called Wellnergy✨ All my learnings in business have been applied to Wellnergy in order to help motivate, inspire and elevate others en masse.
