Experienced Senior Designer / Assistant Manager
I have accumulated over 12 years of experience working in the fashion industry, specialising in Men's Outerwear & more recently Performance / Activewear apparel. Within this time, I've worked 4+ years as Senior Designer /Assistant Design Manager and have successfully led and managed teams on a global scale, with commercial success.
I’m an excellent and positive leader that is able to recognize market opportunities and customer needs, actioning work effectively with clear direction, time management and collaborative working methods, whilst maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
As a Senior Designer / Working Assistant Manager, I enjoy working with and motivating my teams. I design, lead, coach and inspire using my extensive knowledge and skill in product design, trend awareness, Adobe skills (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), fabric development, design layout, typography, fashion trim suppliers, mills & manufactures. All whilst ensuring I am mindful of garment costs, profit margins, the latest trends, clear on my brief and critical path.
My key strengths include product direction & opportunities, innovative & eco-friendly/sustainable cloth & product development , cost negotiations, exceptional attention to detail.
