Whilst studying on the intense course we covered court reporting, the EMMA (Ethnic Minority Media Awards) in London interviewing many celebrities on the red carpet ranging from Doreen Lawerence to David Harewood to Mel B. I also had the opportunity to conduct an interview with footballer and pundit Paul Merson.

During my degree I had the opportunity to work with directors from Yorkshire TV having the opportunity to watch the filming/behind the scenes of “Countdown” & “The Price Is Right” as well as working on phone banks for sports phone ins. I also undertook extended work placements at Trinity Mirror, “Blue Peter,” BBC Scotland, BBC Pebble Mill, BBC Radio WM. For my final year project I shot, produced and edited a promo video for Leeds United’s “Playing for Success” initiate. I interviewed the Leeds United team at the time and former Home Secretary David Blunkett.
