About me
I am a 25 year old Marketing and Communications Executive, looking to progress my career in an industry that I am passionate towards. Outside of work, I am an active individual with an interest for travelling the world and trying new cuisines. Since achieving a 2:1 in PR and Marketing, I have been working at a private sports injury clinic for the past two and a half years in a Marketing and Communications role. A role that has enabled me to become a confident communicator with hands on experience across a range of marketing activities including email marketing, digital, social media, content creation and strategy, events, internal communications and print production. Website Creation: • Planning and creation of two new websites, working with agencies from design to implementation. • Produced eight new videos to provide engaging new content for our customers, that would positively impact our SEO. • Held a photoshoot throughout our four locations with staff and patients to capture impactful images. • Content planning, which included streamlining over 500 live pages into relevant and comprehensive sections. Social Media: • Management of our company Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn channels using the systems Hootsuite and Facebook Ads Manager. • Produce content in line with the sporting calendar and national awareness days, such as blogs and patient stories that I share across our social pages. • Grown our Twitter followers by over 50% by feeding our B2B audience constant, relevant and educational posts. • Run monthly paid adverts on Facebook, with the aim to build brand awareness amongst our B2C audience. • Pull reports from google analytics on how much traffic is directed to our website by social media and dwell time spent on blog pages. Content Creation: • Compose blogs, news pieces and patient stories for our company website, which includes interviews with our patients and consultants. • Plan and oversee the production of a monthly staff newsletter. • Create content for a quarterly e-newsletter for our referrer database, on company updates and events in the pipeline. • Oversee the production of all our patient literature, over 100 items in total. • Ensure all website copy is SEO optimised. • Provide quarterly reports on content engagement. Event Management: Networking evenings • Organise and run 10 evenings a year, which typically receives 80-100 attendees. • Promote each event through email and social media. • Collect feedback using Survey Monkey and create a report following each event. • I have been able to double the size of our B2B database as a result of this series. Biennial sports injury conference • Sent 10 targeted email campaigns throughout the year leading up to the event, promoting various ticket offers, news and programme updates. • Organised the design and implementation of print advertisement in three key medical publications and two online magazines. • Managed the conference website, which included the creation of two e-brochures for the site and ticket sales management. • Created and promoted the conference app, which received over 1000 unique visitors. • Produced the delegate brochure and organised all branded items for the event such as conference bags and lanyards/badges. • Promoted the event on the company and conference Twitter accounts every day for the six months leading up to the event. • Set up several Facebook advert campaigns, pushing tickets to targeted medical professionals. • Promotional leaflets were created and distributed at our referrer events to further increase ticket sales and awareness. • Conference Twitter page followers tripled from beginning of promotion until the end of the conference. Brand Partnership Management • Created new co-branding in partnership with Bupa Cromwell Hospital. • Produced eight patient information brochures with the marketing team at Bupa Cromwell Hospital. • Helped to facilitate the creation of the new microsite on Wordpress. • Organised two B2B events throughout the year to promote the new service. Campaign to launch new partnership • Targeted Facebook campaigns. • PPC campaign generating leads to our website. • A launch event at the Natural History museum, which was a B2B event with our key referrers, insurers and stakeholders. • Press releases to local and regional media. • Outdoor advertising in the catchment area. • Two week radio advert on Capital FM.
