My name is Nicole Eymard, and I am the founder of a sustainable fashion label called Nichloris.
Nichloris explores humankind’s contemporary and historical relationship with nature by Illustrating symbolic animal and botanical imagery. Working many years in personal styling and studying fashion sustainability, I understand the importance of flattering colours and fit, to create heirloom quality pieces.
Before graduating with a BA in fashion Design from fully sustainable university, CCA in San Francisco California, I studied Hellenic Antiquities, in Paris, France.
From my immersion into the world of greek gods and goddess, Chloris, the goddess of sprouts and blossoms intertwined into my artistic expression. So naturally, my brand would be woven together to create Nichloris, together spreading fresh hope and new beginnings by expressing international views of contemporary and future issues in politics.
I specialise in a no waste 3D Guipure lace technique. To make this lace, motifs are heavily embroidered onto dissolvable fabric, becoming lace in water. Items such as grapes are hand stitched onto lace for an extra 3d affect. Experimenting with innovative threads adds the finishing touch.
Nichloris stays sustainable by digital printing to save water wastage and engineering no waste lace. I create about 90% of the textiles, sourcing the other 10% locally, to support local business. I work with local manufacturers in England and source haberdashery in local antique markets, and supplement with local businesses.

- The Calmness of nature GuipureAntipasti Karaoke SPRING – SUMMER 2020 The Calmness of Nature In the first of our three capsules, we explore the romantic elegant mood of classical spring, while featuring ceramic threaded guipure lace. (embroidery lace) "Beautiful forest nymphs stroll out of a Botticelli Painting to a dreamy John William Godward villa. Napping in the calming breeze after exploring the corinthian columns, surrounding a pond of lilies."
- "Summertime Sadness" GuipureNichloris SS20 "Summertime Sadness" campaign gives us an opportunity to reflect on humankind’s relationship with the sea and aquatic life. We need to see the good and the bad and choose how we can do our part. Our bold prints are a gentle reminder of how much of our food comes from the sea! Lets start thanking the food gods properly for our seaweed, shrimp, and octopus! We have digitally printed locally in London on organic cotton. This practice reduces water wastage and chemicals.
