About me

I am a producer for Smooth Radio East Midlands, my role is to create and write content for broadcast. This also includes researching current events in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough, to be responsible for sense of the day, i.e. making ostensibly similar playlists feel of the day with contemporary artist references and news. This shows I am able to use the information provide information given and interpret and analyse effectively. My experience working as a booking agent means I can research effectively whilst maintaining efficiency. During this role I have demonstrated administrative skills which included, but are not limited to, inputted ticket on sites such as SeeTickers,Dice and Skiddle, updated sales ticket spreadsheets weekly & researched current algorithmic and strategic marketing plans. In addition to this I have gained excellent communication skills. My role included communication with venues and artists, represented artists at shows, communicated via email and phonically to build clientele. Being in such a fast paced role has meant that I have gained the ability to multitask and keep a close eye to detail in all areas but also to be organised. I have an excellent eye for developmental and creative ideas. Having completed a BA (HONS) Degree in Professional Musicianship with a 2:1, have the hard work and dedication skills which will allow me to shine through and give my all to my role. I know I have fresh new creative ideas to bring to the team and I know I can make a difference to the industry.
