About me
Communications Specialist at General Motors since 2016, with the ambition to assume a meaningful role for an international company in the marketing or communication department. Recently graduated in Management of Creative Industries (MSc.), I am really passionate about communication, event organisation, public relations, content writing and graphic design. Discovering new places, getting in contact with different cultures, speaking languages and working in multicultural environments have shaped my international and creative soul. I consider the pragmatic approach to things and the intellectual curiosity to face new challenges as my key strengths. Sharp in interaction, respectful in exchange and discussion, I am a hardworking person, trained to team working both in an operational position and in the leader’s role. I am a smiling and sunny-natured person, able to create empathy with people and to liaise effectively, sensitively and discretely with different stakeholders. I am a traveller, I love backpacking and camping, both alone and in company. I like writing and sharing the experiences learnt on the road.     >> Current role: replacing ad interim the Communication Manager Responsibilities included but are not limited to: • designing and developing a communication strategy that promotes, protects and builds company’s reputation and ensures alignment with strategies and priorities; • working closely to the leadership and to other internal teams to develop new ad hoc ideas for communication strategies; • executing and coordinating events for executive and VIPs visits, all-employee meetings, and company-wide celebrations; • creating innovative opportunities to build and maintain a strong corporate culture, grow social responsibility and enhance employee engagement; • building a strong network, both local and international, within General Motors and outside; • ensure an efficient and effective workplace communication by creating corporate communications emails, weekly newsletters, videos, presentations etc. and by managing and keeping updated the internal website • self-production of innovative materials for communication, to best-frame the overall corporate image and message (video editing and production, graphic design in: presentations, postcards, badge holder lanyard, displays etc.) • managing the annual communications operational budget
