My name is Nicole Wignall. I am the Sales and Events Manager for a large Brewery and Pub Group, Wells & Co (13 site territory). I am a dedicated Sales Manager, Strategic Events Planner and Creative Marketeer with a keen willingness to continually develop and broaden my skill set. I am confident with Sales Promotions, Key Account Management, Music Events and Multi-Channel Marketing. I have a multi-site role and am happy to travel. I have good numeracy and literacy skills and am a competent Excel user which I use for Events Planning and Budgeting.      Planned, strategised, maintained and executed a 13 venue events and marketing calendar with the venue management & operations teams which included music festivals, gigs, wedding receptions, university awards and business networking events.  Artist liaison, travel planning, event operations and stage set up.  Researched & networked with promoters to work alongside the venues to maximise profits and introduce new clientele.  In charge of business and student relationship proactive account management across the estate to help maximise sales and ensure clients were satisfied and became returning customers for all their special occasions.  Oversaw large cross site premium spirit brand incentives and sponsorships, POS opportunities in store & online, internal staff competitions and training to help maximise profits at events and introduce new products whilst maintaining excellent relationships with the brands.  Completed 4 acquired sites re-brand and relaunch events and launched a further 2 sites into new territories with the re-branded company direction to success within a 6-month period.  Managed budgets for events and ensuring deadlines and payments are met and in line with the wider marketing budget.  Reported on ROI of marketing campaigns, events and new business relationships regularly.  Hired bands & back-line, created event concepts and in-house creative direction plus stage management at events.  Helped venue teams realise their events potential with new clientele they could draw in to fill downtimes and maximise turnovers by hosting regular strategy meetings with the venue management and operations teams, created agendas and ensured that follow up actions were carried out.  Maintained and updated websites with new marketing activity and events and in charge of selling tickets for events and reporting on sales regularly.  Social media aid for the 13 sites to help them to stay on brand, personal and fun whilst ensuring maximum coverage of marketing and events activity.  Devised design briefs that ooze personality and on brand charm for the in-house design team.  Helped the venue teams reach out to community figures and local businesses to help embed them into new areas following openings and make launch events successful. Key Achievements with Wells & Co  I received the Wells & Co Values Champion Award in 2019.  Took personal pride in choosing the names of two of the new venues in Nottingham and Loughborough.  Introduced events into the existing 5 sites to achieve a broader customer base, higher footfall and increased profits.  Introduced new procedures for event creation and improved internal communication and turnaround time for events being signed off by directors and all respective teams involved.  Helped influence stakeholders to redirect from corporate branding within the Pizza Pots & Pints group and focus the branding aesthetic towards independent and individually charming venues to stay in line with current trends within hospitality and consumer desires successfully. This was followed by a full company wide re-brand.

     Worked to and far exceeded sales targets with new business relationships. After being tasked with a sales target of 16 thousand for a 12-month period, I managed to exceed this by 600%.  Conceptualised and managed 8 venue’s events and marketing calendars including 3 weddings, university award ceremonies, business networking events, 2 clubs schedules and 4 annual festivals from concept with the management teams to hands on execution at the events.  Set up private hire materials - organised video shoots, content on the website and marketing the packages to sell.  Assisting the director to help with day to day admin and bigger picture discussions for the business.  Selected to take over duties of the Marketing Manager role alongside my Sales and Events Manager role after 9 months with the company.  Used creative flair for the design, concept and in-house creative direction for events to drive footfall by providing an experience that stands out from competitors.  Venue viewings with prospective clients and dealing with all aspects of generating bookings, closing sales and executing private events for customers.  Operational organisation of hiring, budgeting and leading external staff and companies including artists, sound engineers and equipment companies to meet deadlines and briefs for events.  Worked alongside the directors and operations team to help drive new revenue into the businesses and increased sales volumes using present assets through building new local business relationships.  Researched & networked with promoters to work alongside the venues to maximise profits and introduce new clientele.  Oversaw print runs for menus, events and in-house promotion.  Organised graphic design and dealing with external design agencies and budgets.
