- Seeing in Colour: Ace & Tate x gal-demFor AW18, we’ve collaborated with London-based award-winning magazine gal-dem – a young media powerhouse that’s comprised solely of women and non-binary people of colour. Our project, Seeing In Colour, engages with four creative personalities and learns about some of the assumptions they’ve had to face as a result of their skin colour. Together, we hope to broaden perspectives and continue our celebration of diversity in all its forms. Photography: Kez Coo Videography: NXSH Words: gal-dem82

The aim of gal-dem is to open up our take on the world to a wider audience. We want people from all backgrounds to engage with the work we are doing. It’s no secret that the mainstream media doesn’t represent or reflect us, so we are doing it for ourselves. gal-dem was founded by Liv Little who, frustrated with the lack of diversity at Bristo31
