About me

I love to be creative in all areas of my life, pushing me to be hard-working, vivacious and conscientious. I live off new challenges and I can offer a fresh creative eye, filled to the brim with enthusiasm and good work ethos. I graduated in Contemporary Fine Art at City of Glasgow College in 2013. Soon after I moved to Birmingham for three years where I worked in varies positions such as a family photographer, studio assistant for a small creative business and volunteer at an artist run space where I also helped to co-deliver interactive children's workshops. I'm a people person and love collaborating ideas - it's where I flourish and feel my happiest. I've had a growing interest in film and TV for many years now so to gain some experience I worked in and around London as an extra which offered fantastic insights into the everyday operations of a set. Being hands on and 'thinking outside the box' sparks my ideas. My work has been published in Urban Outfitters store magazine, 'SHEET' and I've showcased work in Creative Debuts groups exhibitions in London. At the moment i currently reside in Bratislava but will relocate for the right job. I tutor part time offering support in subjects such as art, history and geography and also worked as a proofreader for LET'S CEE film festival in Vienna. I'm looking for an internship that would be the ideal stepping stone for my creative career and the ability to learn and grow as an artist is invaluable.

          • When I first moved to Bratislava I was studying English TEFL course to teach English as a foreign language however I found it wasn't for me. Even though I liked teaching, I wanted to focus on English speaking clients therefore I tutor part time helping high school students with general subjects such as art, English, history and geography.

          • I volunteered as a proofreader for LET'S CEE film festival in Vienna and oversaw and corrected any grammar issues, punctuation and style of language used in scripts, that would be featured as short films during the festival and analysed the festival programme before it distributed. I still keep in contact with an organiser who I will be doing more proofreading for.

          • I loved being part of Birmingham's leading artist run space, organised by local creatives. My duties included assisting at event nights; setting up delicate artwork as well as de-installing and operating front of house functions. One of the most fulfilling aspects of the job was helping to co-deliver interactive family workshops for children - encouraging them to engage in creative outlets; designing, presenting, exploring, problem solving and 'thinking outside the box' (this position was paid). There was more amazing opportunities awaiting but sadly I relocated to Slovakia with my partner for his job.
