About me
My name is Nikodem, I live in Poland and I come from an art related family, so from the beginning I’ve been seeing creative work being done since I was a kiddo. I’m graduating from fine arts highschool this year and I’ll be officially a graphic designer but that’s not what I’m really into.
My journey with filmmaking started when I first realised that I could film my friends skateboarding. Since I’ve been already skateboarding for almost 6 years, getting to know the skate community wasn’t a problem of any sort. That’s how it all started. My first skate montage was made with a cheap fisheye lens from ali attachted to my samsung phone. And here I am... 3 years later working with incredibly talented people around my sphere of possible reach, hoping for a collaboration or inspiration from others on this platform. I mailny shoot skateboarding but I love fine cinema and I’ve had my try at regular filmmaking (which I very much enjoy). Thanks for reading this, I hope it was somewhat worth it :). Working with Bizzy Skateboards (Young polish company with great posibilities and attitude towards maintaining the real spirit of skateboarding) means everything to me. They were the first one to give me real oppurtunities to shine and do my best at what I love doing.
My responsibilities require filming with the skate team members, editing and uploading footage to social media as well as pulling the strings together for example so we could visit other big cities of Europe and film great stuff abroad where the spots are different and the surroundings allow us to squeeze out a little extra out of us. I really love working with passionate people and skateboarders happen to be just the perfect match for me.
