- The night manager - Book cover designClient: Penguin Student Design Award Design a book cover that has an eye-catching design and appeals to the broadest audience possible. An original and clever execution however not the usual crime/spy cliché design covers. The idea behind the cover design portrays a copy of government official papers. The copy of government top secret papers is the small reason however, beginning of Jonathan Pine’s adventure.
- Editorial beyond pageDesign a magazine spread page based on one of the 8 manifestos. This should also collaborate with an AR Layer to bring the page to life. Dieter Rams: “Good design is honest. It does not make a product more innovative, powerful or valuable than it really is. It does not attempt to manipulate the consumer with promises that cannot be kept” however, nowadays a lot of products/food are portrayed as almost impossible perfect (think of McDonalds advertisements).
