About me
During my time at University I presented and hosted shows for the University radio (HUB). This involved interviewing up and coming bands such as Sundara Karma, Scouting for Girls and Clean Cut Kid as well as broadcasting new music. My performance on HUB Radio led to a 3 month residency on local Bristol radio ‘10Twenty Radio’, where my shows were dedicated to exploring and celebrating a broad range of underground music covering styles such as Techno, Hip Hop, and Disco.
Additionally at University I was appointed as the Head of Events and fundraising for the University Rugby society, a peer voted position. My main responsibilities included, organising the annual varsity event, ensuring that there is interest from both members of the university and local community. This role particularly enhanced my project management, through having to run events from the beginning and ensure that they are delivered to the highest standard.
