  • ILE WA Book
    ILE WA BookILE WA, a Yoruba phrase directly translating to "Our Land" is a coffee table book and short film curated by We Are Soul, in support of their wider philanthropy project, the Soul Purpose campaign. The proceeds generated by the book were donated to the Soul Purpose campaign helping support the education of three young girls in Nigeria, by contributing to school fees, uniform and materials. The book featured artists and poets from across the African and Caribbean diaspora.

The event brought together works from over 25 artists advocating for topics from human rights, refugee rights, climate justice to gender equity. Highlighting the necessary, and natural, overlap between art and activism.
