About me
I pride myself on my personality and feel at ease when I am meeting new people. Competing in teams from age 7 has caused me to seek these environments and a career that centres on collaboration to create positive changes for clients could not fit me better.
Additionally, I enjoy expressing myself creatively, whether through music, drama or art and continually seek opportunities to further my abilities. Most notably I was the Events Director for the Durham University Charity Fashion Show, which is the UK’s most successful student-led fundraiser that in 2019 raised £150,000 for charity. The role included designing and executing pre-show events that ranged from club nights to a Festival of Sustainability, a day of debates, performances and talks from notable figures in the world of sustainability. More recently, I started my own embroidery business in lockdown where I hand-embroidered custom designs onto t-shirts. It was created as a way to raise money for charities surrounding BLM and I donated 50% of all profits. Solely directed by myself and marketed exclusively on social media platforms, I raised over £300 for Gendered Intelligence - a charity that helps young black trans people and their families.
