I am an animator/designer with 14 years experience in the industry. During which time I have worked as a freelancer and set up my own studio/produced and directed projects. I love to work on all aspects of an animation from storyboarding and scripting to animation/sound design and even putting together bespoke teams of artists for a given project.
I focus on a graphic illustrative form of animation. I often work with illustrators and studied graphic design so have a design based approach to my motion work. I have a very strong sense of traditional design, a keen eye for composition, colour and aesthetics. I also have a great interest in title design and the combination of type with film and animation.
I am an experienced animator/compositor but also have experience in project management, directing teams or of being a specialized member of a team myself.
I am very adept in the production of explainer videos and working with startup companies/innovation. I worked on the rebranding of Headspace, producing their branding animations and explainer videos. I have also in the past produced, directed and animated work for NGOs and charities such as Amnesty International.
