Mature, conscientious, and enthusiastic student currently in my final year of a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Newcastle University. Great communication and interpersonal skills. Strongly performs independently as well as collaboratively, and always displays a willing and helpful attitude. History of programming experience including proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C# and Python. Knowledge of Android app development through personal app creations, namely "Top Spots" and industry work. Developed website skills for pure HTML and React-based through personal projects and work for Business Smart Solutions. Skills also include a long history of teaching Computer Science and private tutoring, ranging from primary to GCSE level. Previously employed by Surrey Heath Borough Council as a key-worker during the COVID-19 pandemic creating software to help automate the response to giving out business retail grants for companies in the local area. Most recently employed by IBM for their Extreme Blue internship solving a real-world problem for one of their top clientele.
