I love the process of Advertising. How a small insight can lead to a great idea that can stop people in their tracks and stay with them all day. I want to work in this industry and create ideas that are bigger than just adverts.Locked Pro Plan feature
Currently I am working with a fantastic Street Food trader called Up In My Grill. My role with them is to take charge of the advertising, design and social media side of the brand and to increase the exposure, following and interactions with the brand. This is a fantastic learning experience for me as I am working alone without the guidance of someone more experienced. Since I started working with Up In My Grill I wanted to make everything look more professional and get the brand seen by more people. This has led to a whole rebrand from the logo, website, pop up stall design and social media presence being developed to suit the new image. Social Media is a huge platform for the Street Food industry and I have worked with big influences to promote the brand. I have also secured an exciting partnership with The Lad Bible and The Food Bible to get to do a takeover of all their social media platforms with Up In My Grill as the subject.
Following on from my first bit of industry experience I could build on this at JWT where I was working closely with the Kit Kat team. This allowed me to see clearly the advertising process from working with clients to working with creatives and everything in between. A valuable bit of experience which will help me massively in my future in Advertising.
A fantastic experience for my first time in a Creative Advertising Agency. This allowed me to gain knowledge of the industry and see how an agency really works. Helping out where needed and having conversations with all different roles really helped me think about my route into the industry.
I have just graduated with a First Class Honors in my Creative Advertising degree. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Leeds, learning the craft of Advertising and the skills I need to take me into the industry. During the three years I spent studying I worked on many industry style briefs for products, services and also political campaigns. This gave me the chance to tackle different challenges and consider a range of audiences. I would work on the whole brief from the initial research, strategy, ideation and execution. This led me to realise my strengths would be in a creative role.
