At Bartle Bogle and Hegarty I learnt about how design, innovation and creativity works on a multinational scale. I worked with and inter viewed employees from HR, Finance, Production and Creative. This gave me an insight into how different parts of the company operate and come together to produce creative advertising and marketing solutions for some of the worlds most expensive brands including: Audi, Tesco and Barclays. The placement covered new cyber security developments within businesses and how both consumers and employees can adapt to overcome these increasing cyber threats.
A creative design business dedicated to small businesses and products provided a test project to deliver a brand for a cake mix. I worked closely with a designer and with clients to create the brand, designs for the packaging and a final product. I learnt how a small graphic design business works and how to work to a professional standard.
I worked on a test project that involved designing and packaging a home for a designer shadowing architects, planners and project managers. Furthermore, I had to adapt and learn how to use new sofware applictations such as AutoCad and AutoDesk, in order to complete projects in a short space of time.
I have completed projects working with Coventry City Council in developing their successful bid for City of Culture in 2021. I designed an app for their walking tour and AR application for identifying historic buildings using an iOS and Google device. I have rebranded products from the multinational technology and communications company, Nokia and created an advertising campaign containing the logo, posters, merchandise and developing all the collateral required to launch a successful campaign through. visual advertising.
