About me
An energetic and highly motivated individual committed to pursuing a career in the fashion industry, with particular interest in styling, branding and public relations and an affinity for popular culture. A keen team player who has experience in more direct assistant roles, I go above and beyond what is required of me. Experience in high-octane and fast-paced environments has moulded me into a rational and resourceful problem-solver, confident in my ability to work autonomously and take initiative. Organised, methodical and with a keen eye for visual presentation, no task is too big and no detail too small.

I studied a range of modules with particular focus on modern and contemporary art and culture and its relation to the sociopolitical context in which it was produced. I achieved high marks in independent research essays exploring topics such as the pedagogical potential of art during the global migrant crisis, the difficulties of representing the Holocaust in cinema and television, and a comparison of the Islamic State's media output with that of the UK press. My final year dissertation project was an in-depth analysis of the Abu Ghraib photographs taken during the US-led occupation of Iraq, combining my interests in the media coverage of the War on Terror with my knowledge of the visual construction of power relations present throughout art history and visual culture.
