Olivia is a British jewellery designer and maker based in London and West Sussex. She graduated in 2016 with a MA from the prestigious Royal College of Art, and previously received a First Class Honours degree from Edinburgh College of Art. She has exhibited all over the UK, and most recently by invitation at the 2017 LOOT Exhibition at the Museum of Arts & Design in New York, which sells designs of more than 50 emerging and acclaimed jewellery artists worldwide. Olivia has also worked with award winning luxury jewellery designers The House of Shaun Leane, and Australian Dinosaur Designs.
Olivia creates handcrafted textural jewellery with a pure and organic aesthetic, inspired from the impressive and ever changing landscapes of her British and Australian heritage. Her current collection “Beyond Crystal Planes,” influenced by the rusty Australian Outback and the stunning coastal cliffs of the Sussex Downs, consists of pieces designed to sit on the skin and reflect the light and natural growth of crystals and minerals native to both these locations. Through unusual processes using raw precious uncut stones, the result is both elegant and timeless. The softness of the colour palette balances the hardness of the materials found within the landscapes, complementing the beautiful and varied colours of human skin. This passion of processes and experimentation is projected into each handcrafted piece, creating something beautiful and truly unique for the wearer.
