Full time position controlling the management and promotion of a wide range of events at Headrow House, Belgrave Music Hall, Water Lane Boat House and various external venues across Leeds. • Plan campaigns with program managers and company directors to control the production and distribution of all print, online advertising and artwork online, across all venues and the city of Leeds. • Create and deliver high quality social media content for 4 separate accounts/venues utilising Facebook, sponsored posts and Events, Twitter and Instagram. • Develop new online content, plus posters and videos alongside a team of web designers and video makers to ensure the online marketing remains new and exciting for our audiences. • Liaise with a wide range of local and national press to promote our gigs, artists, events and venues. • Develop promotional content alongside artists and agents to ensure branding and image maintained. • Use a range of online management tools to analyse effectiveness of marketing activities. • Working one on one with the booking team to curate exciting listings and line ups for music events across our venues. • Responsible for regular mail outs from venues and events company • Managing internal staff and external promoters to ensure all events at the venues are delivered to the highest standard. • Managing, reporting and distributing ticket figures for all events to agents and ticket outlets. • Developing ideas with the events team internally for on-going events at the venues, such as quizzes, cinema, art and food events.
Part time position working in the Guest list box office over show week at Leeds • Managing Festival Republic’s ticketing system, dealing with a range of different ticket holders and their needs, ranging across contractors, bands and residents
• Liaising with performers, dealing with issues involving catering, riders and audiences • Working closely with 6 creative stages across Latitude site, from comedy to music, using a commercial awareness when distributing limited catering and requirement resources • Overseeing staging arrangements, lighting and sound
Voluntary position over show weekend at Parklife Festival ensuring smooth running of Ram Jam and Temple stages • Managing the stage team and liaising with artists, making sure all requirements were upheld • Responsible for making sure the stage ran to time, in order to follow a strict time curfew
Unpaid 6 week internship in the Production office for Festival Republic at Latitude Festival 2016 • Organising all catering arrangements for site crew and staff of over 250 people for the 6 weeks on site, plus artists and performers. • Managing requested meal requirements, monitoring and recording meal ticket distribution. • Key contact for any IT issues across the site, ensuring that all deadlines in the deployment schedule were achieved. • Liaising with all contractors providing power, water and gas on site. • Managing plumbing and toilets on site, ensuring the standard of toilets were upheld throughout the 5 weeks leading up to the festival and show weekend. • Assisting colleagues, with tasks such as artist requirements, accreditation and accommodation i.e. locating and ordering products, booking accommodation and travel • General office admin tasks i.e. processing expenses and inter-department communication, organising couriers, booking travel, internet research, photocopying • Experience working under own initiative and as part of a larger team
