About me
I am a graduate student at Cambridge University, studying for an MPhil in English Literature (Criticism and Culture) at Pembroke College. After graduation I’m looking to combine my analytical skills and broad enthusiastic knowledge in the arts and humanities with my passion for working with young people; for this reason I’m hoping to gain some experience in the arts and charity sectors, working particularly in outreach and events organisation.

While studying for my MPhil degree I’ve also been working for Junior Research Fellow Sophie Seita, based at Queen’s College Cambridge. Sophie is a performance artist, writer, researcher, and translator. I have been assisting her with the organisation of her current art projects, which has mainly involved researching and compiling information: funding sources, performance programmes, summer schools and more. I have also been involved in contacting galleries and setting up meetings regarding a future exhibition.

I’ve recently made a successful application to be on Pembroke College’s fundraising team, working across a week in April in a team of four contacting alumni to raise support both CARA (the Council for At-Risk Academics) and Pembroke’s The Time and The Place Campaign. Training will be provided, meaning that I will have further experience by this summer.
