About me

Ollie Silvester is an Editorial and Commercial Illustrator and Animator. Based in Bristol, UK, Ollie spends most of his time drawing birds, plants and the strange fluctuations within his imagination. He takes inspiration from the mundane and the moments between moments and is always trying to document the nonsensical humour that is found in the everyday, the colour within the seemingly drab, the noise within the quiet and the quiet within the noise.

  Gory Rory Fangface Needs a KissDebut children's picture book, written by Ziggy Hanaor and Illustrated by me. Gory Rory Fangface is having a TERRIBLE day, and the LAST thing he needs is a KISS… A laugh-out-loud book about managing frustration when things don’t go to plan, and about the power of affection to put things right. Published by Cicada books in May 2023.
• Editorial - The Mockingbird18 illustrated spots for The Mockingbird: Success & Failure issue.
• Project DASHProject DASH is an initiative by Doordash to eliminate foodwaste and deliver foo to those that need it most, all by using their dedicated team of dashers to connect restaraunts with services that feed those that need it most. Illustrations for social campaign. Pre-roll advert co-directed and designed by me, animated by Mike Teevee
• Dating IRL: Caviar x BumbleCharacter Design for dating prompts, animated marketing assets and 23 pairing cards, all included in the exclusice Caviar delivery bags from Bumble Brew NYC.
• Caviar World Tour9 animated tiles featuring 7 different countries for Caviar’s “Caviar Week: World Tour”. Project for organic socials and in app promo.
• Indoor Valentine's Day - Caviar7 animations for Caviar’s “Indoor Valentine’s Day” campaign, February 2021.
