I have spent the last year creating and building my own clothing brand (Technē Labs) from the ground up. In the process I have not only taught myself and become proficient throughout the Adobe Creative Suite, but I also personally designed and built the Ecommerce site myself through Webflow (www.techne-labs.com). Alongside designing and creating the clothing and website for the brand, a large portion of my time has been spent creating and coordinating content to be shared across the site and social media channels. I have been through a number of successful clothing ‘drops’ with adjoining campaigns that include collection-themed graphics as well as full video campaigns with a strong narrative and style throughout. Creating my own brand and being self-employed has allowed me to expand the scope of my technical skills but further has only deepened my interest and curiosity to learn more.

After graduation I proceeded to seek out client-facing junior level roles in the startup world, focusing my search around creativity-based businesses. I was fortunate enough to be taken on by the team at ArtSnap (now art republic) for a 2 month internship. Over the course of my time at ArtSnap I worked closely with their Social media, Sales and Admin teams. My main responsibilities whilst there consisted of maintaining the shopify site with creative content and collections as well as assisting in creating social media posts to be shared across various platforms.
