About me
My motivation as a creative is to find links between stories to form a merged concept and new ideas.
I am an award-winning Textile Design graduate from Dublin, based in London
My skills and experience include an excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite inc InDesign. Good knowledge of fabric design including wovens and prints. I have worked at an industry level assisting in design work and collaborating with senior designers at large scale mills and with smaller businesses.
I find myself thriving most when I am free to adapt and develop my skill set to realise and complete problems. While working at and expanding business such as Ray Stitch, I have broadened my job role from the shop and administrative assistant to the content developer, product photographer and writer for the website and social media.
I am looking to expand my skills, learn from interesting business practice and discover where I can use my talents dynamically.
Projects
- Recycled Visual Merchandising with Brown ThomasAs part of my university degree, I and a few fellow classmates took part in a collaborative project with high-end fashion store Brown Thomas. The brief was to create a Spring window display using only recycled materials. This involved a concept development and presentation, material sourcing and a lot of prototyping! The visual merchandising team at Brown Thomas were really pleased with our concept, development and execution.
